Kat Browning - 100-word Biography

Award-winning Bass Clarinettist Katmuss has performed in many contexts, from the local pub all the way up to the likes of The Royal Albert Hall & The Kennedy Centre, in the US.

She is active on the Manchester gig scene in musical theatre pits, orchestras, big bands, & folk bands.

In February 2020, She was soloist in a performance of Jonathan Russel’s Concerto for Bass Clarinet & Orchestra with Leicester Sinfonia, & has recorded the YouTube Premiere for Catherine McMichael’s For Hope for bass clarinet & piano in 2021

She also wrote & performed her own improvisatory music to her original poem Deathfall in November 2022.
